Meet the pastor

My name is Joe Jursa, but most just call me Dr. Joe.  I have been a pastor for over 35 years.  Coming to Satellite Beach was like coming home for me.  My wife Linda and I met and married while I attended FIT.  Our first home was in Indialantic.  One daughter and grandson live at home with us and the other daughter and grandson live in Jacksonville.

You will see from my picture that I have embraced living on the island again.  It is almost with pride that you will find me dressed like this on Sundays except when I wear a robe for the traditional service.  All manner of dress is welcome.

Telling of stories to covey truth is one of the ways I have learned to preach and teach.  You will find a warm and meaningful time of worship with friends when you come.
